There are the following requirements for production of briquettes from plant waste:

• Optimum moisture content should be 8%
• Allowable range of moisture for successful compaction is 6 - 13%
• Raw materials must have fraction not more than 3 cm

Briquetting line is equipped with drying complex to ensure acceptable humidity. It can be out of use if the raw materials have required humidity. Usage of drying reduces efficiency of production.

Pressing of briquettes is the method of forming a rigid square matrix with the filing of raw materials with the help of conical rotary screw, creating enough pressure for sintering of raw materials into a solid mass in the form of a continuous sleeve without adding binders.
Sintering process occurs continuously at temperatures up to 300 degrees.

Pressing temperature is set by the operator depending on the humidity of the raw material.

Trimming is done manually. Trimming is under customer’s request.
